Used Clothes

I'm loving the weather in Portland right now.  It looks just like an overcast day at the beach in SoCal.  The sky is pale grey, almost whitish and when I stare into it for a few seconds I feel like I'm looking into a mirror.  You know?

In other news, I sold some clothes on Hawthorne today and made $30! Woot Woot!  I'm now at Powell's on Hawthorne pretending to write one of the most annoying essays of this term.  But, the good news is that it's finally March.  Thankyou, Leap Year, for making March come 2 days early.

My roommate and I have been discussing where we want to live next year, and I think we've decided on NW Portland, Nob Hill area.  I'm kinda obsessed with it. It looks kinda like this:

Yea, it's really dreamy.  Portland's turning out to be one of the most impressive places I've experienced.  It's a city tucked away in a forest.  Could you imagine a better place to live?? Even though I'm going to school, I kinda feel like I'm on a long vacation here.  I don't know if that's a good thing... it makes me wonder if I will stay here after I graduate.  I'm sure I won't.  Knowing me, I'll be off on another adventure as soon as I'm done at PSU.

It makes me sad to think of leaving.  I'm hoping that I'll run into the love of my life here.  Portland is the perfect city for romance.

Speaking of romance, I HIGHLY suggest reading Tom Robbins' Still Life With Woodpecker. If you're not in love with someone now, it might make you feel like you are.
