The Dreamers of Dreams

I was thinking of Willy Wonka earlier and felt inspired to look up some quotes.  He's....BRILLIANT:

Mrs. Gloop: Help, Mr. Wonka, help! I'm getting squashed. Save me!
Willy Wonka: Is it my soul that calls upon my name?

"No, no, don't speak. For some moments in life, there are no words. Run along, now."

"The suspense is terrible... I hope it'll last."

"Candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker"

"We are the music makers... and we are the dreamers of dreams." (Interestingly, these are lines from Arthur O'Shaughnessy's book Music and Moonlight. The whole poem goes like this:
"We are the music makers,
And we are the dreamers of dreams,
Wandering by lone sea-breakers,
And sitting by desolate streams;—
World-losers and world-forsakers,
On whom the pale moon gleams:
Yet we are the movers and shakers
Of the world for ever, it seems."
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE)

"A thing of beauty is a joy forever."

Willy Wonka: But Charlie, don't forget what happened to the man who suddenly got everything he he always wanted.
Charlie Bucket: What happened?
Willy Wonka: He lived happily ever after.

His wit reminds me of Alice in Wonderland, just less mad.
